At the end of the American Red Cross Blood Drive presentation in May, our friend Bill Bexley challenged member Mayor Steve Babick to host the next Battle of the Badges Blood Drive in Carrollton since Farmers Branch previously hosted. Well he's not one to steer away from a challenge so Carrollton's stepping up to host our Drive. Carrollton Police and Fire Departments will be competing to see who can receive the most donations and is including the public in the challenge. If you're a big fan of Carrollton Fire Rescue or always Back the Blue, you can decide to support either Department by donating blood in their honor. Both departments will have a tent at the event with giveaways and stickers to help garner your support. American Red Cross will be hosting the drive to ensure all donations of support are fairly counted

Bring your friends and neighbors out to donate while supporting our first responders and the American Red Cross. Don't forget to remind them of the powerful impact Rotary has in the Community, because let's remember, this all started with a challenge at a regular Rotary meeting.
