This Thursday, July 31, they hosted an event in Old Downtown Carrollton at their meeting location as a ceremonial kickoff of their ride which actually starts this coming Saturday.
Our own Rotarian Mayor Steve Babick recognized the 4 riders and then they and others including another Rotarian, Pat Cochran, participated in the ceremonial ride around the square supported by our wonderful Carrollton Police Motor Cyclist and a follow up patrol car. Even young cyclists participated in the ride around the square.
Many of these veterans attend our Annual Veterans Lunch in November. The Rotary Club of Carrollton-Farmers Branch is always finding ways to support our veterans and honor their service to our great country.
