Back in July, CFB Rotary launched a new initiative called "CFB Rotary Cares." We began placing blue Care Cards (aka Concern Cards) on the tables during each weekly meeting and encouraged members and guests to share concerns with us. Six weeks later, we're still doing it!
After each meeting, Chaplain Bill Lovell collects the cards and, based on the wishes of the person who shared each concern, makes the concern public or keeps it private. When appropriate, Bill also tries to check in during the week and shares a periodic update via email. So far, Chaplain Bill has received eleven Care Cards marked Public and seven marked Confidential or Private.
