Raul H. Paredes, former President of Carrollton-Farmers Branch Rotary Club, died on Monday, June 15. "Raul was a great Rotarian," commented long-time friend Bill Bexley. "He was certainly a great example of someone that lived his life following the 4-Way Test and Service Above Self. He will be missed!"
Raul joined the Club in 2006 and was President in 2011/2012, receiving the District Presidential Award for his outstanding Rotary year.
Raul is survived by his wife Aurora, his children Dondi and JoAnne, Marinette and Vinh, Joanna and Josh, Benjamin and Brittany, and his grandchildren Nicole, Karlo, Daniella, and Isabella.
Raul's funeral was on Friday, June 19, at Mary Immaculate Catholic Church in Farmers Branch, where he was an active member. His obituary may be found here.
In lieu of flowers, the family welcomes donations to the Kalogris Foundation as their work meant so much to Raul.
